Carbide Tapered Diagonal cutters - Small head, Special Hone, 4" OAL, double-dipped Standard handle. Engineered to satisfy the exacting demands of medical professionals, these superior quality tools are forged from high chromium, high carbon alloy steel and hardened using a unique proprietary heat treating process for maximum strength and durability. They are ideal for all hard wire cutting applications including: guide wires, stents, catheters, stylists, mandrels, braided mesh, single/multiple fliers, and lateral/internal cuts.
The adjustable ScrivetTM screw joint system, 18-21 RMS finish and 3-position adjustable opening stop reduces operator fatigue and helps ensure precise, consistent cuts through a variety of challenging materials, e.g., piano wire, tungsten, gold, platinum, Vectran®, most stainless including MP35N-V, PTFE-coated materials - even Nitinol.
